![]() American Film Manufacturing Company (American Film Company): Empresa con base en Chicago, Illinois, que inició sus actividades en Octubre de 1910 siendo sus principales dirigentes Samuel S. Hutchinson y John R. Freuler. cambiando su denominación en 1915 por American Film Company. Conocida por el público bajo el apodo de "Flying A", compitió inicialmente con la Biograph y la Edison y más tarde con la Metro y la primitiva Universal. Luego de producir unos 1.200 títulos, entre westerns, romances y dramas sociales, la compañía cerró sus puertas en 1921. |
